The Series Mansions has been conceived as a theatrological library with concentrates on publication of theatre theory literature and drama. By the end of 2001, twenty-four books from the field of theatrology, books of plays and anthologies had been published, and a start was made on translation of Croatian plays. The Series has been accepted by readers, and the funding support provided by institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Science, the Zagreb City Office for Culture, and non-Croatian cultural centres additionally confirms that the books being published are worthwhile.

We are honoured that Đurđa Škavić's Croatian Theatre Terminology, published in the Series Mansions in 1999, won the eminent award for theatrology - the Marko Fotez Prize.
